another, other and the other کی و کجا استفاده کنیم؟

You use ‘another’ with singular nouns that aren’t specific.

  ‘another’ رو باید  با اسمهای مفرد که مشخص نیستند استفاده کنیم
I want another piece of cake. (that’s any one of a number of pieces)

For non-specific plural nouns you use ‘other’.
برای اسمهای جمع غیر مشخص باید از Other استفاده کرد

I want other pieces of cake. (it doesn’t matter which ones)

‘Other’ is also used with uncountable nouns that aren’t specific.

Other یهمچنین در مورد اسامی غیر قابل شمارش که مشخص اند استفاده میشه

There’s other information on the website. 

If the noun is specific, you use ‘the other’.

I want the other piece of cake. (the only piece left)
I want the other pieces of cake. (all the remaining pieces)
The other information you need is on the website. (particular information)
