صفت تفضيلي برتر

اگر صفت چند بخشي باشد از اين ساختار استفاده مي کنيم:

More + صفت چند بخشي + than

1. This problem is............than that problem.

a) more difficult *
b) difficult
c) as difficult as
d) the most difficult

2. This garden is ............ than his garden.

a) beautiful
b) as beautiful
c) more beautifully
*d) more beautiful

در اين تست از قسمت c نمي توان استفاده کرد، چون فعل تفضيلي است و ما اينجا باغ را تفضيل مي کنيم نه فعل را.

3. A chair is ............. than a bench.

4. A watch is ............... than a pen.

صفت عالي (ترين)

اين صفت برتري يک شخص و يا يک شيء را نسبت به چند بخش و يا چند شيء بيان مي کند. اگر صفت يک بخشي باشد از اين فرمول استفاده مي کنيم.

est+صفت يک بخشي + The

اگر صفت چند بخشي باشد در صفت عالي از فرمول زير استفاده مي شود.
